Ilsedora Laker, the first Canadian German New Medicine educator and consultant authorized by Dr. Hamer, resides in Toronto, Canada, where she pioneered the introduction of the German New Medicine, and continues to train medical and lay specialists in its practice throughout North America and abroad. Ilsedora is also instrumental in introducing Dr. Hamer’s work to South America, and Pacific Rim countries as well as India and parts of the African Continent.
Ilsedora discovered the work of Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer in 1992 through a colleague at Herbs and Health Holistic Centre in Toronto
In 1994 Ilsedora met a highly renowned protégé of Dr. Hamer, and invited him to conduct the first New Medicine seminar in North America. Her New Medicine studies (as Dr. Hamer’s research was then called) continued under his protege's supervision until 1997 when she inaugurated her series of New Medicine seminars.
In 1998, Ilsedora was introduced to Dr. Hamer and, at his request, sponsored his first seminar in Canada. After this event, she became his student and shortly thereafter was entrusted by him with overseeing the translation of his thesis “The Summary of the New Medicine”.

Dr. Leigh Erin Connealy attended the University of Texas School of Public Health, and then attended the University of Health Sciences Chicago Medical School. She completed her post-graduate training at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Connealy soon realized that conventional medicine had very limited returns and did not always improve the health of her patients. Her patients were hungry for alternative approaches for improving their health. This led her to study integrative and complementary therapies, and since then she has revolutionized the landscape of medicine. Dr. Connealy feels that we must treat the patient with the disease and not the disease of the patient. She has discovered that many factors contribute to the disease process; therefore, many modalities must be used to reverse it.
Dr. Connealy treats the WHOLE person, and is open to all potential treatment possibilities. She has over twenty years of experience in finding the ‘root cause of an illness’, and has taken numerous advanced courses, including homeopathic, nutritional and lifestyle approaches, while studying disease, chronic illness, and cancer treatments. She has a true passion to change her patients’ lives, and give them their life back.
Dr. Connealy writes and has been published in monthly health columns for “Coast” and “OC Health”, Orange County based magazines and is published in “The Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association” (JANA), along with Healthy Aging Magazine & Townsend Letter. She is a frequent writer for Natural News and Newport Natural Health on line magazines . www.cancerforhope.com

Dr. Thomas Hudson is a diagnostic radiologist specializing in breast imaging. He attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, and completed his radiology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. After his time in the Army, which included an overseas tour to Germany, he settled in Naples, FL, where he served for 15 years as Director of Women’s Imaging at Naples Diagnostic Imaging Centers. In 1992 he was named “Doctor of the Year” at Naples Community Hospital. From 2005 to 2013, Dr. Hudson served as an independent women’s imaging consultant, based primarily in Orlando, FL. In 2013, he returned to Naples, now serving as Director of Women’s Imaging for the Naples Community Hospital Outpatient Centers.
Dr. Hudson is a unique radiologist. He has gone beyond the traditional radiologist’s role of reading films in a dark room, speaking to no one. In his current practice, he personally sees every screening mammogram patient and discusses their results with them before they leave, greatly reducing the fear and anxiety surrounding the breast screening process.
Believing in a mind-body-spirit approach to health, Dr. Hudson offers patients far more than his expertise in image interpretation. He discusses screening controversies, counsels women about breast cancer risk, helps them with the mental and emotional aspects of the process, and encourages them to focus on prevention and general health. He empowers them with information about nutrition, meditation, and mental imagery, and even provides occasional intuitive readings.
Dr. Hudson has a special interest in alternative/complementary medicine. He is on the faculty of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC, and is one of the only conventionally trained breast imaging specialists to understand both mammography and thermography, currently serving as President of the American College of Clinical Thermology (ACCT).
He is the author of the book, Journey to Hope, which offers a mind-body-spirit approach to breast cancer prevention and general health, and includes chapters on nutrition, meditation, mental imagery, spirituality, and relationships. He speaks to audiences of all sizes, facilitates small groups, and offers phone consultations for women who wish to better understand their thermogram or mammogram results, have doubts about a biopsy recommendation, or who have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Dr. Zava has devoted his 40 year professional career to exploring the role of hormones in aging and disease. After completing his Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Tennessee in 1974, Dr. Zava spent much of his time doing basic research on hormones and breast cancer in Texas, Switzerland, California and Oregon. In 1998, he established ZRT Laboratory, a CLIA-certified laboratory that is a frontrunner in the innovative development of test methods to identify hormonal imbalances that can lead to debilitating symptoms, diminished quality of life, and increased risk for cancers and many of the diseases of aging, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and senile dementia. ZRT Laboratory was one of the first laboratories to develop and commercialize noninvasive (saliva and dried urine) and semi-invasive (dried blood spots) methods for testing hormones as an alternative to conventional serum testing. Using these unique methods of body fluid collection, ZRT is actively engaged in hormone research studies with Universities, Government (NIH, CDC) and Military agencies, private physicians, and Professional Sports teams. In addition to his innovations in clinical laboratory testing and development, and numerous scientific publications over the past 40 years, Dr. Zava coauthored a landmark book, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer: How Hormone Balance Can Help Save Your Life. In this book Dr. Zava and coauthors describe how breast cancer can be caused by hormonal imbalances that occur naturally as we age, but can be prevented if the types of hormonal imbalances are identified with testing and restored to optimal healthy levels with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and improved lifestyle (diet, exercise, stress reduction).
